Long-acting NDMR (60-90 min). Vagolytic — causes tachycardia and hypertension. Renally eliminated. Used in cardiac surgery.
Renal & hepatic adjustment
- Severe (eGFR <30 / dialysis)Predominantly renal elimination → greatly prolonged block in renal impairment. Avoid; use cisatracurium.
- Severe (Child-Pugh C)Reduced clearance in hepatic dysfunction prolongs block — prefer cisatracurium.
